How to Fold the House with a Dinner Napkin

The House is a fairly simple fold that looks great for less formal occasions. It looks great with patterned napkins.

1. Fold down the top third of the napkin.

2. Fold up the bottom third of the napkin.

3. Flip the napkin over, bottom to top, so that the loose end is at the top of the underside.

4. Fold down the right side of the napkin as shown.

5. Fold up the right side of the napkin as shown.

6. Fold the pointed side of the napkin over to the left.

How To Fold the Rabbit Ears with a Dinner Napkin

The Rabbit Ears is a slightly complex napkin fold, but it is very intricate and impressive. It looks especially beautiful with solid color linen napkins.

1. Fold the napkin in half diagonally.

2. Fold up the right corner of the napkin to meet the top corner.

3. Fold up the left corner of the napkin to meet the top corner.

4. Fold the bottom corner up to an inch or two below the corners at the top of the napkin.

5. Fold the left corner in behind the napkin.

6. Repeat with the right corner of the napkin.

Fold a Diagnal Pocket Server with a Dinner Napkin

This is a very quick fold that will enhance your buffet dinners. Your guests can simply grab a whole place setting at once since it is self-contained inside this napkin.

1. Fold the napkin into quarters and orient with the loose corners at the top right.

2. Fold the first and second layer of the top right down to meet the bottom left corner of the napkin.

3. Fold the left corner behind the napkin.

4. Repeat on the right side of the napkin.

The Decorated Square Napkin Fold

The Decorated Square is a pretty fold, and it looks even better when used with a larger sized napkin, since it is folded in half a few times.

1. Fold all of the corners to the center of the napkin.

2. Carefully fold the napkin in half horizontally as shown.

3. Carefully fold the napkin in half again, but this time, vertically as shown.

How to Fold Napkins in the Double Barrel Style

The Double Barrel is a very easy fold and looks great with lighter weight fabrics. It really shows off fancy silk and linen napkins.

1. Fold the right and left edges of the napkin towards, but not all the way to, the center.

2. Fold the new outer edges to meet in the center of the napkin.

3. Fold the napkin in half vertically.

Fold Napkins in the Double Pyramid Style

The Double Pyramid fold is fairly easy to accomplish and looks great in the center of a plate. Name tags may also be tucked into the lower fold for your guests.

1. Fold the napkin in half and orient with the folded edge to the right.

2. Fold up the bottom right corner of the napkin as shown.

3. Repeat with the left corner of the napkin.

4. Carefully flip the napkin over and orient as shown.

5. Fold up the bottom right corner of the napkin.

6. Repeat on left corner of the napkin.

7. Fold the bottom corner up to about one inch from the tip of the top corner of the napkin.

8. Fold up the bottom edge about half way as shown.

Napkin Folding – The Reindeer

The Reindeer is a fairly complex fold, but easy to master with a little practice.

1. Fold the napkin in half diagonally.

2. Roll the napkin from the bottom up about halfway.

3. Hold the napkin at the center of the bottom edge and fold upwards as shown.

4. Repeat on the right side.

5. Fold the right corner of the napkin in as shown.

6. Repeat on the right side.

7. Carefully flip the napkin over.

8. Turn down the top center corner of the napkin.

Fold the Fancy Corners with a Table Napkin

The Fancy Corners is a very pretty fold and really shows off napkins that have nice edges. It can be placed either next to, or in the middle of a plate.

1. Fold the bottom edge of the napkin almost to the top as shown.

2. Turn down the front edge as shown.

3. Fold down the Top edge as shown.

4. Fold the right edge in about third of the way.

5. Fold it back outwards to the right.

6. Repeat on the left side.

How to Fold a Napkin into a Buffet Server

This buffet server is really easy to fold. It can be laid out on a buffet table and filled with appropriate cutlery for your meal, which your guests can then grab all at once.

1. Fold the napkin in half with the fold on the bottom.

2. Fold down the front top edge to meet the bottom edge.

3. Carefully flip the napkin over.

4. Fold the left edge in to meet the center.

5. Fold in once more towards the right.

6. Fold in towards the right one last time.

How to Fold the Double Peak with a Cloth Napkin

The Double Peak is a fairly complicated fold, but easy to master with a little bit of practice.

1. Fold the napkin in half and orient with the fold at the right.

2. Fold down all the corners of the napkin as shown.

3. Fold the top and bottom points of the napkin to meet in the center.

4. Fold the napkin in half as shown.

5. Lift the bottom right corner of the napkin and tuck in the top right corner as shown.

6. Repeat on the left top corner of the napkin.

7. Begin folding the bottom right corner of the napkin outwards as shown to the center.

8. Repeat with the left side of the napkin.

9. Carefully flip the napkin over.

10. Repeat steps 7 and 8 on this side.

11. Carefully stand the napkin up by pulling out the bottom corners.
